→ I'm a 27 year old with my BA in Psychology and I've been role playing for close to 10 years now, so I've had a lot of experience.
→ I only play AU or PB, not celeb. I'm not comfortable with playing a celebrity.
→ I prefer to play males in PSLs, though I will play a female when I have the sudden urge. Just don't request me to play a female.
→ I don't do the whole 'I'll play the male for you if you play the male next time' crap. Don't ask.
→ I prefer to play slash in PSLs, but I've found myself enjoying het and femme on occasion.
→ Since I'm normally a slash RPer with the random urge to play het or femme at times, I'm a little more picky about who I'll be playing opposite with in a het or femme line.
→ I play both dominant and submissive characters, depending on the person I RP with and what the storyline is. This also does not mean that I want to be in a bunch of PSLs in which I'm the dominant. It gets old.
→ I love playing in preternatural or fantasy type games or storylines. (Vampires, werewolves, Fae, ghosts, psychics, Harry Potter, etc...)
→ I am willing to play out darker SLs; BDSM, rape, incest, violence, torture...etc. Hell, the darker the PSL, the better.
→ I like to play out darker scenes(see above) and sex(descriptive and non), if you have problems with that, don't bother.
→ I will NOT play alongside any emo/scene/punk/original type kids in a PSL unless it works for the PSL I'm in and we've talked it out.ecently I've decided I'll play alongside a scene-type kid IF and only IF they fit the PSL I'm in or looking for. If not, don't bother.
→ Roleplay can be carried out over AIM, or through journal threading.
→ If your replies are only one or two sentences long, don't bother asking for an PSL. I like someone that can write somewhat lengthy responses(re: a paragraph is fine on AIM, while a couple works for threading) and can get into their character.
→ I may not be online all the time since I have a life and a job outside of RPing, so do not freak out on me if I'm not online every time you are. If you see me online, I'm more than likely wanting to RP at that time. When I'm online, I'm generally on for awhile unless there is something I must do, in RL that is distracting me or even something else.
→ Regarding threading, I'm not the fastest at replies. So if you're expecting one like right after you reply, you might want to turn away. I tend to get distracted and there is the thing about having a job. So if you can't handle a couple of replies a day and get impatient, I'm not for you.
→ I'm on the Westcoast, so I run on the Pacific timezone. Hours online vary since I have a full time job that often gives me crazy and random hours (on-call 24/7).
